Professionally, Colleen has worked in Charter High Schools in New Orleans for 6+ years as a Trauma Conscious Yoga and Social Emotional Learning teacher. She has extensive experience developing curriculum that incorporates practices of yoga like breathwork, meditation, and moral code, with lessons on neuroscience, stress management, and community engagement. She has trainings in Accessible Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, and Teen Yoga.
In addition to this work, Coco practices a variety of creative mediums as a means to express, synthesize and release parts of herself that have felt trapped, or undiscovered. She explores those concepts through drawing, performance and movement art, photography, videography, and enjoys exploring new mediums— whatever mode suits the concept.
